How to Obtain a Learner Driving License in Gurgaon

Eligibility:
Any citizen who has attained 20 years of age is eligible to apply for a Learner Driving License.
Designated Officer:
The designated officer overseeing this process is the Secretary of the Regional Transport Authority (RTA).
Procedure:
1. File Preparation:
- Facilitation: Visit the facilitation center to have an operator fill in the prescribed form online. Attach all required documents to the printed form provided by the facilitation desk.
- Self: Fill the prescribed form(s) on the Haryana Transport Department’s website. Pay the fees and attach all required documents. Deposit the file at the relevant counter in the concerned office.
2. Medical Test:
Obtain a medical certificate from any Government Hospital/dispensary, primary health center, or registered medical practitioner having a Bachelor of Medicine and MBBS degree or an army doctor.
3. File Verification:
Your files will be physically verified by a clerk at the RTA office. If your file is rejected, a deficiency slip will be given containing clear reasons for rejection and guidance on corrections.
4. File Submission:
Submit your file at the counter along with an on-the-spot photograph and payment of fees.
5. Document Delivery:
Upon approval, you can download and print your Learner's License at the Facilitation desk free of cost.
